Why Do Some People Reject God?
This is the topic for this year’s Interfaith Panel Discussion sponsored by the Greenville Area Interfaith Council to be held Monday, Nov. 5 at the Greenville Public Library Community Room from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Find out what others think about this topic. Panelists will represent the Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Mormon, and Muslim faiths. A question and response session follows the panelists’ presentations. In these times of polarization and mistrust it is good to come together with those of other faith traditions to share understanding of the important things in life. Light refreshments will be served. All are invited.
St. Theresa’s Women’s Guild will be holding their 2018 BOUTIQUE on SATURDAY, October 20, 2018 from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm and SUNDAY, October 21, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at St. Theresa’s Higgins Hall, 5188 Route 23, Windham, New York.
There will be Crafts & Gifts; Baked Goods; Raffle for an Award Winning Hand-Sewn Wall Hanging plus other prizes; along with Treasures from the Trunk and Collectibles from the Closet and Used Books sales. Refreshments will be served. Proceeds support local families in need and neighborhood food pantries and charities.
